Deep Penetrating Anchor (DPA)
Through its company NLI Innovation, NLI has entered a joint venture with GeoProbing Technology, in order to develop a new and innovative anchoring solution. The joint venture company Deep Sea Anchors AS has patented the anchoring system "Deep Penetrating Anchor", a cost effective and competitive solution. Statoil has been a partner on the project since 1998 and has contributed with both funding and technical expertise. The project is also supported by the Norwegian Research Council.
