NLI signs up with Deltamarine

NLI and Deltamarin are specialists in both the topside, hull and turret. Now they join forces to meet a growing demand in the global market.

- We are experiencing a growing demand for special expertise within FPSO in the major international markets. With this partnership we can offer such a specialisation while at the same time securing one interface with the customer. As far as we know, this is a unique offer in the market, says Mr. Sigve Barvik, Marketing Director of NLI.

Together, NLI and Deltamarin offer design, FEED engineering and detail engineering for new construction and conversions. The companies also assist customers in evaluating prospects. Now the Norwegian-Finish players are experiencing great interest in growing markets such as Singapore, Brazil and Australia.

- The market responds well to the specialisation which this initiative represents. If we look at the Norwegian market, the players are conservative and traditionally do business with one large supplier. However, in major markets globally, our special expertise is considered a competitive advantage. NLI and Deltamarin are already working in a joint project delivering FEED to a large international company. We are also involved in numerous prospects where we now work together, says Barvik.
