Rotation Frame

NLI has developed a rotation frame for turning fully loaded reels from horizontal position to vertical position. This opens for alternative transportation methods of reels.

The rotation frame can be customized to fit any type of reels and payloads. The functionality of the rotation frame is controlled by two separate cranes. The rotation frame is designed in such way that the requirements of maintenance are kept to a minimum.

The rotation frame has been tested and used with success for ø9.2m reel with payload of 90 tones.
