NLI delivers water treatment module to M-I EPCON

NLI has been awarded by M-I EPCON AS the contract for engineering, procurement, fabrication and E&I work for a water treatment module to the BP Valhall platform. The treatment module is based on the EPCON CFU technology (CFU = Compact Floatation Unit), a patented and cost efficient technology for treatment of produced water.
The project is assigned to NLI as an EPC contract. NLI Alfr. Andersen is the formal contract partner and responsible for procurement, construction and assembly of the module. NLI Engineering Oil & Gas is responsible for engineering and the overall project management, while NLI Elektro will perform all the electrical and instrumentation work.
NLI is very pleased with the award of the contract, and appreciates the opportunity to participate in an important environmental project to reduce emissions in the North Sea.
The engineering work has already started and the delivery of the module will be by 1 July 2010.
